PINPOINT team members Paul Binder, Jonas Geus, and Søren F. Etzerodt presented three new papers at the Midwest Political Science Association Annual Meeting in Chicago: on firm networks in the global economy, on political narratives in response to foreign trade and investment, and on production networks and welfare states.

PINPOINT team members Timm Betz and Søren F. Etzerodt in a new working paper examine how welfare states shape production networks, offering a new outlook on the link between welfare states and globalization attitudes.

Timm Betz presented a paper on production networks and welfare states, co-authored with Søren F. Etzerodt, at a workshop on the globalization backlash at Texas A&M University. The workshop was organized by Christine Lipsmeyer and Thomas Flaherty.
